Recently founded by Mai Luu Ly in 2021, The Credits takes pride in being the first third-party offering non-profit legal consultancy for indie filmmakers dealing with credit violations and sales contracts.This is also a community space that aims to connect industry professionals, providing practical support for international co-productions as well as industry profession recognition and memorials.Our main activities are to co-produce, distribute, market research conduct and connect the industries of Asian countries and in collaboration with Europe and America, such as France, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Ireland,...Our annual industry booklet, this year's 5th edition is called "The Changing Time", coming in November, December of 2024-- exclusively distributed to our industry partners.TheCredits.art, the official site of The Credits is coming soon.
About
Born in Thailand 1995, MAI Lưu Ly is an international agent who focuses on Asian Cinema's representation and new high-tech immersive initiatives.She graduated as a top 1 in the gifted program with full scholarship from the best public movie school in South Vietnam, the University of Movie and Stage of Saigon.With a diverse background in medicine, airborne, foreign affairs, and architecture, she started her film career as a screenwriter. As she became an IP developer and script consultant, she has been then determined to lean towards new strategies and market exploitation with Audience Design strategy in Financing, besides Marketing and Distribution strategy in world sales.Now Mai Lưu Ly focuses on bridging gap for films that challenge conventions and celebrate diversity, some are even subvert and mixed genres from A-list and regional festival-awarded filmmakers, such as Cannes, Berlin, Locarno, Golden Horse, Busan,...
